What are above ground pools?

Unlike standard below-ground pools, above ground pools are generally private, and are usually smaller than public pools, thus cheaper to build. These types of pools are commonly situated in backyards and gardens of big homes, and serve as a relaxation spot for family members and friends.
What to consider when getting an above ground pool:
In some countries, particularly the more advanced ones, there are requirements for building above ground pools. This is to ensure a level of security and protection to the swimmers using the pool, most especially to young children who may wander around unguarded. Pool fencing is required, and the pool has to be situated in an area where visual monitoring is possible.
